The pump forms the heart of the pneumatic system, and besides its role generating pressure and vacuum, it is also responsible for the logical control and communication with the seat controller.

The complete pneumatic system is comprised of one or more valve blocks which interface with the pump. Hence, in a premium economy seat, for example, just one pump is required to control several seats.

Brushless DC motors ensure longevity, while the integrated rotary vane is engineered for low temperature environments.
